Picture of me

I am a junior level designer and a soon to be gratuate videogame artist. My skills are in teamwork and communication. Currently my heart pounds also for Content Creation. What I like the most in game dev is honing the games to be as fun to play as possible. I love creating games and online content that people enjoy.

CS2 Level Design

Counter-Strike isn’t a game I personally play a lot, but its approachable gameplay made me want to give level design a shot. I started with a really simple 1v1 map, which I decorated and made functional. That map was mostly just for learning the tools, so I never ended up publishing it anywhere.

My second level was originally meant to be a small 2v2 Wingman map, but I decided to go all-in and design a fully-fledged 5v5 map instead, which turned out to be a huge undertaking. I sunk countless hours into making the layout playable. That map, called Barricade, can be found on ArtStation. I decorated about half of it to showcase the vision I had for the environment.

Since I wasn’t too interested in environmental art at the time, I later returned to the map just to apply textures and get it playtested. The playtest was done with a full 5v5 lobby of friends, who gave me honest feedback. I’ve improved the map based on that feedback.

You can find Barricade on the Steam Workshop and try it yourself. Visually, it’s still a bit rough—but the gameplay aims to be faithful, fair, and fun.

2D Level Design

I’ve been designing 2D levels ever since first grade. No lie! I drew almost 200 different levels with markers on A4 paper. As I got older, I played a lot of New Super Mario Bros. Wii with my brothers. The gameplay was so fun and simple that it really inspired me to start creating my own levels.

I’ve created six fully-fledged custom levels, remade one level from a later game, and even recreated the entirety of World 1 in reverse. These custom levels are fully decorated, functional, and packed with custom music as well.

About half of my original levels can be found on YouTube, since they’re admittedly higher in quality. All of the remade levels are also available on my channel. If you’d like to check them out, I’d really appreciate it!

Content creation

I’ve also been really invested in content creation, putting my artistic skills to good use to elevate my work. I’m currently the content creator for the KAMK.GG esports organization, where I observe and cast the team’s official CS2 matches.

I’m pretty proficient at video editing, I’ve edited a few YouTube videos for Vatsastapuhuja Sari Aalto, and I placed second in Andreas Tolonen’s editor contest. Through that same interest, I’ve also developed a love for thumbnail design.

On top of all that, I currently stream regularly on Twitch, averaging around 20 viewers per stream. I also enjoy making Twitch emotes, for example I’ve designed all of my own, and I’ve even done a commission of five emotes for another streamer, Kristukka.
